Today on August, 25 in the lecture hall of the Donetsk Republican universal scientific library named after N. K. Krupskaya it was a presentation of a book by Italian writer-antifascist Max Bonelli “Anti-Maidan: the history of the genocide of the people of the South-East of Ukraine”.
In his book the Italian Max Bonelli described the events of the coup d’état in Kiev in 2014, the author assesses the Russian spring in the Crimea, the Odessa tragedy on May, 2 in “The House of Trade Unions”, admires the courage of the residents of Donbas which held a Referendum on May, 11. Being a pharmacist by training Bonelli never studied literary art.
Since the Central theme of the book is the review and analysis of data interpretation of the facts of Italian and other European media, the main goal of a Max Bonelli is an attempt to prevent neo – Nazism which began to revive in Europe and is actively supported by the USA. Bonelli, analyzing the Ukrainian events, with accuracy the accuracy can tell who is to blame for the bloody conflict in the Donbas. By the way, the Italian visited Donbas land six times.
“I decided to write a book and to show Europe and the world what is actually happening in the South-East of Ukraine,” — said the author at the presentation.
According to Bonelli the courage of the citizens of Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics is an example of the imitation of the Italians who later will find their real freedom and independence, freed from the influence of Europe and the USA. As it was noted by writer and anti-fascist “the Italian and European media did not dare tell about your courage, your desire for independence and freedom”.
Unfortunately “Anti-Maidan: the history of the genocide of the people of the South-East of Ukraine” has not translated into Russian language, but it can be found for download on the Network or even can be ordered by the Internet.
