Slutsky: The Peace in the Donbas disadvantageous West

Western countries absolutely do not need the implementation of the Minsk agreements and the settlement of the conflict in the Donbas.

The Head of Committee of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Leonid Slutsky is sure of it.

The Deputy is sure that all parties to the conflict must actively continue to work on stabilizing the situation in the conflict zone in the Donbas not only in the framework of the Minsk meetings, but also in other areas and international stands.

“Calming the situation in the Donbas and the implementation of the Minsk agreements is obviously not satisfied with our strategic opponents in the West. They are doing everything possible to continue the shelling of Donbas, they do not care for the fate of civilians — elderly, women, children,” says Slutsky.

The West however, according to the Russian parliamentarian, once again tries to wrongly blame the Russian Federation aggression. He did not forget to recall the recent visit of the French delegation to the Crimea, noting that “one of the strategic lies already failed — since the visit of French parliamentarians in the Crimea.” Then the Western media have not dared to spread misinformation about the presence in Crimea of a large number of Russian troops, low life and other tales.
