В эти выходные любители джазовой музыки могли вдоволь насладиться концертами: в течение двух дней в Донецкой государственной филармонии выступали солисты джазовых бэндов. Война на Донбассе не помешала провести традиционный фестиваль. В этом году он стал уже шестым за всё время проведения.
14 марта, в день открытия «Джаз-форума», первым выступил оркестр «Big Drive Jazz Band» под руководством Михаила Мартыненко. Отметим, что этому бэнду и «Джаз-квинтету» за роялем аккомпанировал мэтр донецкого джаза Анатолий Лозовской. Но молодёжь особенно порадовала в этот субботний вечер джаз-рок-группа «Fusion Band» под руководством Владимира Шершнева.
В воскресенье, 15 марта, на «Джаз-форуме» выступил известный далеко за пределами Донбасса оркестр «Swing Express» под руководством дирижера, заслуженного артиста Юрия Волошина. Солистка коллектива – лауреат международных джазовых фестивалей, Елена Доценко в тандеме с лауреатом международных джазовых фестивалей Николаем Звягинцевым, игравшем на рояле, зажгли всех сидящих в зале! Настолько энергична и чувственна была их музыка.
Музыканты коллектива «Септет-джаз» – также лауреаты и участники множества международных фестивалей и конкурсов, в который раз удивили своих донецких поклонников виртуозным исполнением и оригинальными импровизациями. Вне всякого сомнения, это заслуга руководителя джаз-бэнда Александра Куслина. «Великолепная семерка»: Константин Полищук – саксофон, Николай Звягинцев – фортепиано, Алексей Глущенко – ударные, Данил Милка – бас-гитара, Михаил Халяпин – саксофон-альт, Александр Куслин – тромбон и Валентина Стрелина – обладательница низкого глубокого теплого и сильного вокала – навсегда завоевали любовь завсегдатаев филармонии.
Настоящим открытием для почитателей джаза стал студенческий ансамбль ДМУ под руководством Элины Чеченовой. Самые молодые джазисты исполнили знаменитую «Round Midnight», которую пела сама Элла Фицджеральд, а композиция «Its been so long» примечательна тем, что исполняется под аккомпанемент лишь одной бас-гитары, и звучит это потрясающе! Кстати, строгий парень-басист и нежная девушка-вокалистка смотрелись как влюбленная пара, настолько хорошо оба вжились в роли.
В этот вечер на сцене прозвучали такие джазовые стандарты как: «Блюз Jason Boland», «Sweet Georgia Brown», «Shake your bones», «Fiesta — Chick Corea», «Stairway to The Stars», «Shaker Song», «Сент-Луис Блюз», «Moon dance», « Like night» и многое другое.
