A briefing by the Deputy Commander of the operational command of “Donetsk” Eduard Basurin was held in Donetsk. According to Basurin, the situation in the Donetsk People’s Republic has dramatically deteriorated; punishers significantly intensified shelling at Donetsk and Mariupol directions. Only over the past day Ukrainian invaders fired at the territory of the Republic 585 times. During the attacks they used the mortars of a caliber of 120 mm and 82 mm, tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, various types of rocket-propelled grenades and small arms.
It was fired on human settlements Staromykhailovka, Yasinovataya, Spartac, Dokuchaevsk, Veseloe, Sahanka, Sosnovskoye, Kominternove, Styla, Oleksandrovka, Zhabichevo, Petrovskoe, Nykolaevka, mine of Chelyuskintsev, the area of the airport and the Petrovsky district of Donetsk. As a result of attacks 15 buildings in different settlements of the Republic were severely damaged, two civilians were wounded.
Intelligence of the DPR continues to record the movement of the personnel of the AFU to enhance the units on critical sectors of the front, as well as the work of foreign snipers on military and civilians near the contact line.
