The Donetsk People’s Republic continues the construction of nationhood: the passportization of the population has already started; the establishment of the migration service is next in turn. According to the Minister of foreign Affairs of the DPR Alexander Kofman, the Council of Ministers has been considering a regulation on migration registration and the nationality law.
However, the foreign Minister noted that since the establishment of the world refugees from the Western regions of the country 404 rush to the Republic, they have already begun to flee masse to the DPR from mobilization.
“You know, we have already encountered this problem. Massively citizens of Ukraine moved to the territory of the DPR. This causes even, to some extent, suspicion. I understand that things are not as good as it is shown on local TV. But when the inhabitants of Lvov and Ivano-Frankovsk oblasts try to move masse, of course, we carefully considered these points. But, nevertheless, such facts are here,” said Kofman.
According to him, in 2004 with the coming to power of the orange Nazis, to the Central and Eastern regions “of Ukraine” nationalist immigrants from the West of the country have begun to go there. That is why, the Minister said, a large number of nationalists are observed in those regions where they should not be.
“And the West of Ukraine, in fact, is completely peaceful. For me it was a huge surprise — to realize it. All Nazi vermin has left loss-making and poor regions of Western Ukraine. They all moved to successful regions of Eastern Ukraine. So, we have what we have,” concluded the Head of MFA of the DPR.
Such concern is justified, given the terrorist attack in the center of Donetsk with an attempt to blow up the monument to Lenin.
