Western States are beginning to change their attitude to Russia and its international initiatives in the fight against terrorists of “Islamic state”. This was stated by the Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov.

The politician also made clear that the Western “partners” involved in the creation of terrorist organizations, already left from under their control.

“We felt this change in the enthusiasm with which was met the idea of a full-scale multilateral negotiations on Syria. Until recently, our Western partners did not want to create inclusive, as now fashionable to say, the circle of players,” said Sergey Lavrov.

In addition, Russia’s top diplomat has denied concerns about the creation “iron curtain” between Western countries and Russia. Making a small excursion into history, he recalled that “the preference of the Soviet Union was cooperation” and in 1954 the USSR was the initiator of the contract on collective security for the whole of Europe, which, however, has rejected this initiative.
As for attempts at isolation of Russia by the West in the modern world, Sergei Lavrov said that in the current era of “globalization and interdependence” that’s impossible and made clear the futility of such enterprises:

“If they will drop the iron curtain, can inadvertently something to pinch”.
