Sunday’s elections of the mayor in Krivoy Rog showed that the occupied part of Novorossiya does not accept Nazism which raised its head. Yes, the people there understandably cannot take active actions, but, nevertheless, at the first opportunity they are ready to fight against the Bandera’s uninvited “guests” at least on the electoral front. Moreover, uncontrolled “guests” behave like the real invaders.

Of course, there are extremely low opportunities for people to express their dissatisfaction with the junta and its rate: a punitive mechanism runs at full speed. One of the few remaining legal “loopholes” to protest is the elections.

First, they can vote not only by casting but also for their appearance on the site. More precisely — the absence of: that the majority who came to the polls — were older people, tells a lot. In other words, a significant portion of young people have simply declared the unofficial boycott elections without a choice.

But the will of those who voted was not directed “for”, but “against”. The people clearly stated their position concerning imposed by the re-election of Kyiv mayor: if in autumn Vilkul won with a slight advantage in the second round, last Sunday he was the sole winner of the first round, collecting nearly three-quarters of all votes. His main competitor — the punisher Semen Semenchenko was forced to settle for a measly eleven percent.

No massive campaign, nor “titushki”, transported from around the former Ukraine, nor brawl, nor the mining areas have not helped the Banderites . And even threats of Semenchenko to arrange “Maidan” did not help. It can be argued that such actions rather assisted the nationalists a disservice by becoming good anti-publicity.

Note that Vilkul is just the lesser evil of all that was represented on the electoral list: he’s a former “regional” and now “opposition”. That is, he is the representative of oligarchic shark tribe, known for their appeasement of Bandera piranhas. We will not build about him any illusions: the choice was between “their” and “foreign” villains, no more.

The position of the residents of Krivoy Rog can be described as growing deaf dissatisfaction with the Kiev regime. Such people unlikely will take action, for, as Vysotsky said, “there are little real wild…” However, not all remember the other song, where it is said “quiet and incurable”: this category is no safer “violent” at least by their unpredictability. At least that they will do nothing to maintain the junta at a critical moment.

As for the neo-Banderas, Krivoy Rog mayor’s re-election showed how they are unacceptable to the majority of citizens. Yes, some part supports them, and very actively, however, to overcome the invisible rejection of the total weight it can’t. Here nationalist sites whined about the upcoming political revenge of ex – “regionals”: against the background of the worsening of the general situation this is a real scenario.

Whether people will mature in the Industrial Dnieper to the uprising against the Bandera? It is likely: there are no fundamental obstacles to such a combination of circumstances. But the answer to the question of when this will be possible depends on two factors: first is the success of the fighting Donbas in resolving of social problems amid the worsening Ukrainian situation. And more — how will soon we be able to inflict a crushing military defeat of the Nazi invaders.
