The recent statements of Ukraine, in particular Mr. Poroshenko, on the introduction of police mission of the OSCE with heavy weapons to the Donbass cause confusion not only among us but also among the OSCE and the countries-guarantors. At the moment in the territory of the Republics the civil mandate of the special monitoring mission acts, and we fully insure its safety by the forces of our law enforcement agencies. All incidents that were associated with the OSCE mission, they are investigated and given a legal assessment. If, in the opinion of the OSCE, they need increased protection, we can implement it again by our law enforcement agencies. Today such requests from the representatives of the OSCE SMM did not arrive.
Relative to words Poroshenko about the need for “heavy weapons” I would like to note that the presence of heavy weapons at anyone whatsoever on the demarcation line — is a military intervention and violation of the first items in the package. Also, the President of Ukraine until explained what heavy weapons and exactly how, in his opinion, can help to establish the direction of fall of the projectile or to protect from attack.
