April 27, at night, at 02:45 Ukrainian Nazis under the command of Colonel Jakun, adjusting the targeting by drone, opened fire from 120-mm mortars at a convoy of civilians who were waiting for their turn at the checkpoint “Elenovka”. The adjustment was carried out by the major Titarenko, the responsibility for the execution of the order was entrusted to Colonel Parshikov.

Six civilians were killed, including a pregnant woman, eight people were injured. The Head of the DPR in the morning took under personal control investigation of this crime and the organization of work on rendering assistance to affected civilians.

To a journalist’s question why the Ukrainian punitive battalions opened fire, and what will happen to criminals, the head of the DNI answered briefly:

“This is a provocation. I am sure that this is done specifically so that we began retaliatory shelling to accuse us of violating the Minsk agreements. Battery, which made this attack will be punished, it is unique. Tell the Ukrainians that no one will survive from this battery, let prepare the coffins, it’s 100%. Cut these bastards”.

According to intelligence of the DPR, the punitive battalions with experience in terrorist actions against civilians standing under Elenovka, abandoned their positions, fearing the vengeance of the soldiers of the army of the DPR. Most likely, Kiev command will transfer under Elenovka forcibly mobilized of the Ukrainian soldiers.
