Today in Donetsk was held a briefing of Deputy Commander of the corps of the Ministry of defense of the DPR Eduard Basurin. According to him, the situation on the line of contact has not changed and remains very complex. Over the past day, punishers 248 times shelled the territory of the Republic. During attacks, they applied mortars with caliber of 120 mm and 82 mm, tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, various types of rocket-propelled grenades and small arms.
Settlements Yasinovataya, Dokuchayevsk, Zaytsevo, Elenovka, Sahanka and Petrovsky district of the capital of the DPR were subjected to the most intensive attacks.
Also, according to Basurin, the DPR’s intelligence records the removal of the units of “AFU” and replacing them by Ukrainian nationalists, with a view to their subsequent liquidation due to outrage and complete unpredictability.
