The military command of Kiev’s punishers in the Donbass got the technique from the Chernobyl exclusion zone, which passed recovery. This was stated today on a press-conference by the Deputy Corps Commander defense Ministry of the DPR, the Colonel Eduard Basurin.
“It is important to report, we received information from a reliable source in the General staff of Ukraine about the fact that all the equipment which were previously in storage areas in the Chernobyl exclusion zone, now are in combat units of the armed forces participating in the “ATO”. In the documents of the Ukrainian military command noted that it is impossible to remove the radioactive background with military equipment,” he said.
The representative of the defense Ministry noted that there is information that equipment was restored at repair plants of Ukraine. Thus, according to him, information about the location of contaminated equipment in the service of the invaders is “at the highest level of secrecy.”
Recall that 100 thousand units of specialized and military equipment were thrown on liquidation of consequences of the Chernobyl disaster by the Soviet government. Cars that received too high a dose of radiation have been disposed of as close to the “sarcophagus” and were set on polygon “Buryakovka”. However, the portion of vehicles that have received slightly less dose was sent to a special settler “Rassokha”, where it remained until recently. In the summer of 2014, users of Google maps found on satellite images that thousands of pieces of radioactive equipment had disappeared from the range, leaving an empty field. There were a lot of assumptions, starting from sending by the new “power” contaminated metal to be melted, to use this technique in the fighting in the Donbass. As you can see, the version was confirmed.
Previously RIA Novosti reported the detection of representatives of the army of the DPR increased background radiation emitted by the Ukrainian military equipment destroyed near Donetsk.
