On the 13th of November in the conference hall of the hotel “Shakhtar Plaza” was held the festival “Student autumn of DonNUET 2015”, dedicated to the celebration of the International day of the student. To congratulate the students came guests of honor: Minister of education and science of the DPR Larisa Polyakov, the first Deputy Minister of education and science of the DPR Kushakov Mikhail, Deputy Minister of youth, sports and tourism of DPR Alexey Yarosh, the Head of the Department of youth, tourism and international relations of the city administration Lyudmila Lukina and Chairman of the Donetsk Association of Student on human rights organizations Eugeney Lapenko.
The Minister of education and science Larisa Polyakova congratulated everyone on the completion of the fall festival and awarded medals to the winners of the vocal and dance competition.
As you know, the University is actively involved in cultural events, students lead a healthy lifestyle.
Deputy Minister of youth, sports and tourism of the DPR Alexey Yarosh awarded by diplomas and medals the athletes, who are always ready to defend the honor of their University. The guys from the media group were not also without attention. The most active journalists were awarded the badges “the Correspondent of the University”, by which they can carry out journalistic activities at the University. The culminations of the celebration were congratulations for teachers and students of Russian universities, namely the Bryansk branch of the Russian University named after Plekhanov, Smolensk branch of Russian University of Economics named after Plekhanov and Hrodna University named after Yanka Kupala. In the video message, they expressed their words of support and admiration to Donetsk youth. The Russians wished peace to Donetsk and unforgettable student’s years. The celebration ended with a speech by the acting rector of Donetsk national University of Economics and trade named after Mikhail Tugan-Baranovsky, Dr. of philosophy, Professor Svetlana Drozsina:
“The most important thing for a University of this level is to preserve their traditions, but you not only saved them in time of war, you these traditions multiply, replenish with new projects. Throughout the week students demonstrated their talents, and the most important goal of these activities is to unite the student’s team.
I congratulate you on the occasion of the students! May you have calm activities, fun kind of event; stay always the best students in the world. I would also like to announce that in the ranks of our university has a completion – we joined the Finance and Economics College. And the Director of the College gives us the key to one of the buildings in order for you will be able to implement your projects. Now it is the center for student’s media group, eSports, athletes and everyone who is actively involved in the development of the cultural life of our University.”
The festival came to an end, but the authority of the University says that events such as this from the University will be held in Donetsk People’s Republic on a regular basis.
