French interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said that the decision on the abolition of visas for Ukrainian citizens in the near future will not be accepted. It is reported Europe Online, referring to the information on meeting of heads of the Ministry of internal Affairs of the countries of the European Union in Brussels.
“This issue cannot be resolved in the coming weeks and months. France does not want it,” said the Minister of internal Affairs of France.
He noted that the EU should strictly monitor the implementation of requirements of Ukraine, Georgia and Kosovo; their citizens gained the right to move freely within the Schengen area.
