“And I wasn’t on the Maidan!” — a new trend in Kiev

The yesterday’s zealots of the “ideals of Maidan” began to refuse their involvement in the “revolution”. The Kyiv businessman, ex-owner of the shopping center “Globus”, co-owner of “Dream Town” and a number of restaurants Alexander Melamud said about this on air of the program “Dissident”.

According to him, the Maidan community has an understanding that they made a mistake.

“I hear from different sources, from different people – all of a sudden started saying: “I was not on the Maidan”. And this is a very fashionable trend now… They have already started talking: “We were wrong, we were mistaken,” said Melamud.
