The usurper of the Odessa region Mikhail Saakashvili said he was unpleasantly surprised by the increase in his salary, noting that “officials should receive decent payment for their work”.
About this he wrote on his page in Facebook.
“Today I was unpleasantly surprised that I actually got a raise of the salary. I am deeply convinced that officials in Ukraine should get a decent payment for their work, but neither I nor my team are not here for money, but for the sake of our country had a future,” wrote Saakashvili.
According to him, the decision was made without his knowledge, because he “would never allow himself to raise his own salary”. He stated that it is not permissible, due to the fact that employees are, as before, receive a penny. Saakashvili has promised to revoke this decision and be sure to punish the “guilty”.
“I hope that in the near future with the new government we will be able to raise salaries for all civil servants and then I, of course, will not refuse the higher salary,” he added.
