The Head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko has been at the forefront of the defense line. This was reported today by the Donetsk news Agency, citing the press-service of administration of the Head of the Republic.
The trip took place on Sunday, the 5th of February.
During the stay of the Head on the front there was relatively quiet; two mines exploded in the distance. Zakharchenko asked the colleagues to remain vigilant.
Then the leader of the Donbass visited the injured in the shelling of a market near the railway station of Donetsk. He met with local residents to discuss the worsening of military conflict with the Ukrainian Nazis.

The Head of the DPR visited in the national trauma center the soldiers, who were wounded in the fighting. He discussed with them the issues of employment for those soldiers, who are invalided home due to wounds.
Recall that the conflict in the Donbass deteriorated sharply in late January. The Ukrainian army started massive attacks on the entire frontline, including with the use of reactive systems “Uragan” and “Grad” and artillery of large calibers. Among the dead were civilians and military personnel; the number of wounded is in tens. Infrastructure and several hundreds of houses were damaged.
