A briefing of the Deputy Commander of the operational command of the DPR Eduard Basurin was held on the13th of September in Donetsk. According to Basurin, the situation in the Republic stabilized. Over the past day Ukrainian punishers 79 times fired at the territory of the DPR, with use mortars with caliber of 120 mm and 82 mm, tanks and armored vehicles, grenade launchers and small arms.
Settlements Zaitsevo, Ozeryanovka, Shyrokaya Balka, Yasinovataya, Aleksandrovka, Sahanka and Petrovsky district of Donetsk were under shelling. Especially Basurin said about tank shelling of the settlement Zaitsevo, in which the shells exploded in the center of the village, and only by a lucky chance nobody has suffered.
Eduard Basurin also said that near the village Zaytsevo, under the guise of information on mine’s action, was made attempt by the AFU to throw into our territory a sabotage-intelligence group in the uniform of troops of the DPR. As the result of the ensuing battle 10 Ukrainian terrorists were liquidated. From our side the loss amounted to 3 people.
Intelligence of the DPR continues to identify training of the AFU to commit bloody provocations and fighting intensified. Also in Kramatorsk was marked the arrival of group of officers of the southern expeditious command with the purpose of the inspection units, made an unsuccessful attempt to break the SIG in the area of Krutaya Balka on our territory.
