The Head of the Odessa regional state administration Mikhail Saakashvili believes that for dying Ukraine it is not profitable to cooperate with the International monetary Fund.
He declared it during communication with journalists.
“For us the ideal situation is that the IMF was never there. We have derived the IMF from Georgia in a year. Got rid of, thank God,” he said.
According to Saakashvili, the IMF constantly monitors the actions of the government and negatively affects them.
“The IMF — it is as a surgeon. And when you need a bandage on his finger – it says, why the dressing — let’s cut off you the whole hand, why bother, not going to risk,” he explained.
In addition, Saakashvili said that he intends to change the political system in Ukraine.
“I have a goal to change the political class and the rules of the game. Premiers in Ukraine will be very much in the following years, the government will change often and it is my prediction. But people who might change the rules of the political game will be very short,” he said.
Thus, according to him, he did not aspire to a position in the Cabinet, but wants to remain in power, if in Ukraine the political system will change.
